In February of 2012 we were contemplating whether we should serve a mission for our church. We decided we wanted to serve a humanitarian mission and perhaps utilize some of the life experiences of raising handicapped sons. We submitted our papers and took off for a month of retreat in Florida.
Finally in April we received our call. Bulgaria serving exclusively in Istanbul, Turkey.
We were astonished, surprised and needless to say very excited. What a great opportunity.
